Near the famous Soi Cowboy night club street is one of the busiest intersections in Bangkok. If you mistime the lights at this intersection you could flattened by the wave of speeding motorcycles.
To help you make it across there is the standard red pedestrian traffic light for when your waiting, which turns into the green walking man for when it’s safe to cross.
However when your crossing time is almost finished the green walking man turns into green running man to let you know to pick up the pace and get to the safety of the sidewalk.
